Overview

Once the room is selected as the Location of the meeting, several options will be available to an NHA employee joining the meeting from a conference room.

Prerequisites

The room must be invited to the meeting.

Tips and Best Practices

Do not remove any wires from the room controller or computer.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. To join an NHA Google Meet or Microsoft Teams meeting:

    1. On the room controller, tap your reserved meeting time, then Start.

    2. A Google Meet meeting will connect automatically.

    3. A Microsoft Teams meeting requires another (NHA) party to be in the meeting.

      1. Once someone joins the meeting with an NHA login, the conference room will finish connecting automatically.

      2. Because Teams defaults to video disabled, that feature will need to be enabled by tapping the camera icon once the meeting joins.

  2. To join an external meeting:

    1. On the room controller, tap Join, then tap the corresponding logo at the bottom of the screen and enter the meeting ID. This room can join:

      1. Google Meet

      2. Microsoft Teams

      3. Cisco Webex

      4. Zoom – The room controller defaults to Zoom, so after tapping the generic Join button, enter the Zoom code provided by the meeting organizer.

  3. To share your screen:

    1. To share with a remote meeting

      1. You may join the meeting on your device using Companion Mode and share from there.

      2. You may connect directly to the room controller.

        1. Connect the HDMI cable to your device.

        2. Touch the "HDMI" button on the room controller screen, and choose "Share to Meeting." 

        3. When finished sharing, touch the "Sharing Content" button and choose "Stop Sharing."

    2. To share with an in-person-only meeting.

      1. use the Share Content button, then select "Start Meeting".

      2. This will start an impromptu meeting which will allow you to use the supplied HDMI Cable to share your screen.
